Methodology
Calculators use standard financial math (amortization, compound growth, tax brackets) with parameters published for the labelled year (for example, 2026 federal and provincial brackets and CPP/EI ceilings where applicable). AI-assisted features only send the inputs you submit to the server; they are optional.
Rates shown in illustrative or comparison tables may be placeholders or estimates - always confirm current rates, fees, and eligibility with your bank, credit union, or card issuer. Official limits and rules are published by the Canada Revenue Agency and other regulators.
